PediaBloom PRESS RELEASE
PediaBloom Family Collective Expands to New Maitland Location and Launches Foundation to Help Families Afford Children's Mental Health Care
Expansion brings the pediatric provider network closer to families across the Maitland and Winter Park area and is expected to quadruple the number of families it can serve
Orlando, FL - Oct. 15, 2026
PediaBloom Family Collective, a vetted network that connects Central Florida families with pediatric and adult health, developmental and education specialists, has expanded to a flagship brick and mortar location in Maitland, giving families in Maitland, Winter Park and surrounding communities closer access to the specialists their children and they may need. PediaBloom’s network serves 5,000 families a year, and the expansion is expected to quadruple its capacity to serve families. PediaBloom is also launching the PurposeBloom Foundation, a new philanthropic initiative that helps local families pay for psychiatric and psychological care for their children when cost would otherwise stand in the way.
The new 10,000-square-foot Maitland location centralizes a wide range of pediatric and adult care in one place for families on the northern side of the Orlando area. Individuals can connect through the network with speech, occupational, physical and ABA therapy, mental health counseling, physicians, psychiatry, dental care, and psychological and psychoeducational testing, along with education support such as tutoring, school options and IEP advocacy. For many families, that means less time driving across town and coordinating care among disconnected providers.
PediaBloom’s network supports children and families with a broad range of needs including autism, ADHD, anxiety, learning differences and giftedness, as well as those looking for a trusted physician or therapist. Its providers take a neurodivergent-affirming and strengths based approach to care, focusing on each individual child to address the areas where they need support.
“So many parents in our local area have been driving long distances to see specialists or have been waiting for months to find the right care path for their child or themselves, leading some to give up before they’ve found meaningful solutions,” said Dr. Allison Brazendale, founder and CEO of PediaBloom Family Collective. “This expansion is giving us the ability to reach even more families in the Central Florida area who require this care.”
“After an evaluation, parents want to know, ‘What do we do now?’” said Dr. Katrina Stone, a licensed psychologist and managing partner of Pediabloom. “Being part of PediaBloom makes it easier to connect families with the therapists, pediatricians and education specialists they may need next, many of whom are right here in the same location. It’s one less thing for parents to coordinate when they’re already managing a lot.”
Alongside the expansion, the PurposeBloom Foundation will fund psychiatric and psychological care for qualifying families through donations and community support. Evaluations and ongoing mental health care for children can be costly, and many families delay or go without care because of it. The Foundation gives the community a direct way to help close that gap.
