Purpose

PediaBloom is a private, invitation- and application-based professional membership and referral network.

Our goal is to build a trusted and collaborative network of exceptional pediatric, developmental, medical, mental health, therapy, educational, and family-serving professionals and organizations.

Admission to PediaBloom is not automatic upon meeting minimum eligibility requirements. Every applicant is reviewed holistically for professional excellence, demonstrated expertise, collaboration, integrity, and alignment with PediaBloom's mission, values, and standards.

Meeting minimum eligibility requirements does not guarantee admission or continued membership.

Independent Provider Disclaimer

PediaBloom Family Collective is a professional membership and referral network and does not provide, direct, supervise, control, or assume responsibility for medical, psychological, therapeutic, educational, or other professional services provided by its members.

All providers and organizations listed through PediaBloom are independent professionals or independently owned entities. They remain solely responsible for their services, clinical decisions, employees, contractors, trainees, supervision, documentation, billing, privacy practices, regulatory compliance, professional conduct, and patient/client relationships.

PediaBloom's membership review and credential-verification processes are intended solely to determine eligibility for participation in the PediaBloom network. Membership, credential verification, inclusion in the directory, or use of a PediaBloom designation does not constitute a guarantee, warranty, certification, or representation regarding the quality, safety, appropriateness, effectiveness, or outcome of services provided by any member.

Families remain responsible for determining whether a particular provider or service is appropriate for their individual needs.

Scope of Membership Review

PediaBloom's review process is an internal membership-selection process. It is not a substitute for licensing-board oversight, professional credentialing by a healthcare facility or payer, accreditation, background investigation, or independent evaluation of a provider's clinical services.

Information considered during the review process may be supplied by applicants, third parties, licensing authorities, professional organizations, or publicly available sources. PediaBloom does not warrant that such information is complete, accurate, or continuously current.

PediaBloom distinguishes between Individual Membership and Organizational Membership.

Individual Membership

When a specific professional is identified as the PediaBloom member, PediaBloom's review and designation apply only to that individual.

Individual membership does not constitute review, approval, vetting, or endorsement of the individual's employer, practice, colleagues, employees, contractors, interns, trainees, assistants, or other affiliated professionals.

A practice or organization may not represent itself as a PediaBloom-approved organization solely because one or more professionals associated with the organization are individual PediaBloom members. The exceptions are schools.

Organizational Membership

When a practice, clinic, school, or other organization is itself identified as a PediaBloom member, PediaBloom evaluates both the organization and the practitioners providing professional services through that organization. If an organization has 5 or more professionals, they MUST do a provider/organizational model membership/application.

Every Practicing Practitioner Must Be Vetted

Every practicing practitioner providing professional services through a PediaBloom organizational member must successfully complete PediaBloom's applicable vetting requirements, regardless of the size of the organization.

There is no exemption based upon the number of practitioners, employees, locations, or patients served.

A clinic with 50 practicing professionals is held to the same standard as a clinic with five practicing professionals: every practitioner providing professional services under the PediaBloom organizational membership must be appropriately vetted.

PediaBloom does not permit an organization to obtain or maintain PediaBloom membership based solely upon the credentials, reputation, or approval of its owner, Clinical Director, or a select group of practitioners.

An organization may not submit only selected practitioners for vetting while representing the larger organization as a PediaBloom-approved member.

Practitioners Included in Organizational Vetting

The vetting requirement applies to practicing professionals providing or materially participating in professional services represented through PediaBloom, as applicable to their professional roles.

This may include, but is not limited to:

• Physicians

• Nurse Practitioners

• Physician Assistants

• Psychologists

• Mental health professionals

• BCBAs

• Occupational Therapists

• Speech-Language Pathologists

• Physical Therapists

• Dietitians and nutrition professionals

• Educational professionals

• Other practicing professionals represented through the organization

Interns, Trainees, Assistants & Supervised Professionals

PediaBloom recognizes that high-quality organizations may employ interns, residents, fellows, associates, assistants, technicians, RBTs, students, provisionally licensed professionals, and other supervised or training-level professionals.

These individuals will be reviewed according to standards appropriate to their professional role and level of training.

They are not required to independently satisfy the same post-licensure experience requirements as a fully licensed PediaBloom member. However, PediaBloom must be informed of practitioners participating in professional services represented through the network and may require verification of credentials, training status, supervision, and scope of responsibilities.

The appropriately licensed or credentialed professional responsible for their supervision must independently satisfy PediaBloom's applicable Clinical Excellence Standards.

The organization remains solely responsible for ensuring appropriate supervision, credentialing, scope of practice, professional conduct, and regulatory compliance for all supervised professionals.

New Practitioners

Organizational membership does not automatically extend PediaBloom approval to practitioners hired or added after the organization is admitted.

New practicing practitioners must complete PediaBloom's applicable vetting process before being represented as part of the PediaBloom organization or providing services represented through the PediaBloom network.

Organizations are responsible for promptly notifying PediaBloom when practitioners join or leave the organization. Repeated failure to disclose new practitioners or submit required practitioners for review may result in probation, suspension, non-renewal, or termination of the organization's PediaBloom membership.

All-or-None Organizational Standard

Organizational membership is an all-or-none designation.

If an organization, with 5 or more, chooses to participate in PediaBloom as an organization, all practitioners providing professional services under that organizational membership must comply with PediaBloom's applicable vetting standards.

An organization may not obtain the benefit of organizational membership by submitting only its owner, Clinical Director, leadership team, or selected practitioners for review.

If an organization does not wish to submit its practitioners to PediaBloom's applicable vetting requirements, qualifying professionals may apply individually for PediaBloom membership, only if there are under 5 people. In that circumstance, the PediaBloom designation applies solely to the individually approved professional and does not extend to the larger organization.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

Licensure & Professional Credentials

Applicants must maintain all licenses, certifications, and credentials required to practice within their profession and scope of practice.

Where applicable, applicants must:

• Hold an active, unrestricted professional license.

• Maintain board certification when applicable.

• Maintain required professional certifications.

• Demonstrate ongoing professional development and continuing education.

• Maintain required professional liability insurance.

Organizational applicants must maintain appropriately qualified professional or clinical leadership for all services represented through PediaBloom.

Professional Experience

Applicants must meet one of the following experience requirements:

Licensed Professionals

A minimum of three (3) years of post-licensure professional experience.

OR

Experienced Licensed Professionals

A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant professional experience within their specialty, with at least one (1) year of active licensure when licensure is required.

OR

Professions That Do Not Require Licensure

A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant professional experience within their field.

Examples may include:

• Tutors

• Executive Function Coaches

• Educational Consultants

• Schools and educational organizations

• Other professions that do not require state licensure

PediaBloom reserves the right to determine whether an applicant's education, training, professional experience, and demonstrated expertise are sufficiently relevant to the specialty and services the applicant intends to represent within the network.

Clinical Excellence & Lines of Service

Demonstrated Expertise

PediaBloom membership reflects demonstrated professional and clinical excellence, not simply legal eligibility to provide a service.

The fact that a professional license or credential legally permits an individual to provide a particular service does not automatically mean PediaBloom will approve that individual or organization to represent that service through the network.

PediaBloom may consider:

• Education

• Licensure and certification

• Specialized training

• Supervised clinical experience

• Continuing education

• Years of relevant professional experience

• Population-specific experience

• Specialty expertise

• Professional reputation

• Evidence-based practice

• Clinical leadership

• Other relevant indicators of professional competence

Maximum of Three Primary Lines of Service

PediaBloom members may represent no more than three primary lines of service through the PediaBloom network.

The lines of service must be reasonably related and reflect a coherent area of professional expertise.

Examples may include:

• Speech Therapy, Feeding Therapy, and AAC

• Occupational Therapy, Feeding Therapy, and Sensory-Based Services

• Psychological Assessment, Therapy, and Parent Consultation

• Pediatrics, Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrics, and ADHD Management

• Psychiatry, Psychiatric Medication Management, and Mental Health Consultation

• ABA, Parent Training, and Behavioral Consultation

PediaBloom prioritizes depth of expertise over breadth of offerings.

Focused Scope of Practice

PediaBloom seeks professionals and organizations with identifiable and demonstrated areas of expertise.

A provider or organization advertising a large number of unrelated services may not meet PediaBloom's Clinical Excellence Standards even when those services are legally permitted within the professional's scope of practice.

For example, a provider simultaneously representing general pediatrics, psychiatric medication management, aesthetics, weight management, hormone services, IV therapy, and numerous other unrelated services may not demonstrate the focused expertise expected of a PediaBloom member.

PediaBloom reserves the right to decline an applicant when the breadth or combination of services does not reasonably demonstrate sufficient specialization, expertise, or alignment with the network.

Clinical Leadership Must Match the Service

For organizational members, each approved clinical line of service must have appropriately qualified professional leadership.

The individual responsible for clinical leadership must have education, licensure, certification, training, experience, and professional authority appropriate to that service.

For example, an organization representing ABA services through PediaBloom must demonstrate meaningful BCBA clinical leadership and oversight of its behavior-analytic services.

If the owner of an ABA organization is not a BCBA, the BCBA responsible for clinical leadership must be identified, vetted, and interviewed by PediaBloom.

The same principle applies across disciplines.

If the owner or primary organizational applicant is not the professional responsible for a specialized line of service, PediaBloom may require the Clinical Director, Medical Director, supervising professional, or other professional responsible for that service to participate in the vetting and interview process.

Changes in Clinical Leadership

Approval of an organization may be contingent upon the qualifications and continued involvement of identified professional or clinical leadership.

If a Clinical Director, Medical Director, supervising professional, or other key professional leader leaves the organization, PediaBloom must be notified.

PediaBloom may require the replacement professional to complete its applicable vetting and interview process before the organization continues to represent that line of service through the PediaBloom network.

New Lines of Service

PediaBloom membership does not constitute blanket approval for every service a provider or organization currently offers or may offer in the future.

Members must notify PediaBloom before representing a materially different clinical or professional line of service through the PediaBloom network.

A new line of service may require:

• Additional documentation

• Credential verification

• Evidence of specialized education, training, or experience

• Review of clinical leadership

• An additional interview

• Other information PediaBloom considers appropriate

Approval in one area does not constitute approval in every area permitted by a professional license.

Transition from Organizational Membership to Individual Membership

If a practitioner leaves a PediaBloom organizational member and wishes to remain part of PediaBloom, they must establish a separate Individual Membership.

The practitioner's participation under the organization's membership does not automatically transfer or continue after leaving the organization.

To transition to Individual Membership, the practitioner must:

• Submit an Individual Membership application

• Pay the applicable membership application/processing fee

• Pay the applicable Individual Membership fee

• Execute all current PediaBloom membership agreements and required documentation

• Provide updated credentials, insurance, practice information, and approved lines of service, as applicable

• Satisfy PediaBloom's current membership and Clinical Excellence Standards

If the practitioner previously completed PediaBloom's full vetting process while affiliated with the organizational member, PediaBloom may rely upon previously completed vetting, interviews, references, and documentation that remain current rather than requiring those steps to be repeated.

However, prior vetting does not waive the application fee, membership fee, or requirement to establish a separate Individual Membership.

Any grandfathered, founding, discounted, or other special membership status associated with the former organization does not transfer to the practitioner unless expressly approved by PediaBloom in writing.

Individual Membership is not automatic or guaranteed and remains subject to PediaBloom's current membership criteria and approval process.

Services Outside the PediaBloom Scope

PediaBloom may determine that certain services offered by an otherwise qualified member fall outside the mission, focus, or clinical scope of the PediaBloom network.

Those services may continue to be independently offered by the provider or organization but may not be represented or promoted as PediaBloom-approved lines of service.

Peer Sponsorship & References

Applicants must:

• Be sponsored by a current PediaBloom member or another recognized leader in their field.

• Submit one professional letter of recommendation from someone other than their sponsor.

• Participate in a structured peer interview.

Interview Process

Applicants will participate in an interview conducted by an Advisory Board member or a PediaBloom member in good standing designated by PediaBloom.

For organizational applicants, PediaBloom may require participation from the owner, organizational leader, Clinical Director, Medical Director, or other professionals responsible for the organization's primary lines of service.

The interview is intended to provide additional insight into the applicant's:

• Professional or clinical philosophy

• Collaborative approach

• Professional experience

• Specialty expertise

• Communication style

• Leadership

• Professional judgment

• Overall alignment with PediaBloom's mission, values, and standards

PediaBloom may request additional documentation, references, clarification, or follow-up interviews before making a final membership decision.

Professional Membership Standards

Applicants should demonstrate:

• Evidence-based, family-centered care

• Appropriate professional or clinical expertise

• A collaborative approach to working with other professionals

• Ethical and professional conduct

• Commitment to ongoing professional development

• Compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards

• Appropriate professional and clinical boundaries

• Respect for children, families, colleagues, and diverse communities

• A willingness to contribute positively to the PediaBloom community

Holistic Review Process

PediaBloom evaluates every application individually and holistically.

Admission decisions may consider:

• Clinical or professional experience

• Education and specialized training

• Professional reputation

• Professional references

• Interview performance

• Ethical and disciplinary history

• Specialty expertise

• Leadership experience

• Scope and coherence of services

• Clinical or professional leadership

• Supervision structure

• Geographic location

• Community need

• Existing specialty representation

• Network capacity

• Patient or family population needs

• Diversity of expertise within the network

• Alignment with PediaBloom's mission, values, and culture

• Ability to contribute positively to the collaborative community

• Any other lawful factor PediaBloom determines relevant to maintaining the integrity, composition, quality, and mission of the network

No single factor determines admission.

Network Capacity

To maintain a balanced and collaborative network, PediaBloom may limit, defer, or decline membership based upon operational or strategic considerations, including:

• Geographic saturation

• Specialty saturation

• Existing provider representation

• Community needs

• Practice setting

• Organizational priorities

• Network growth strategy

• Available membership capacity

Applicants may therefore be declined or placed on a waiting list even if they satisfy minimum eligibility requirements.

90-Day Probationary Membership

New members may be admitted under a ninety (90) day probationary membership period.

During this period, PediaBloom may evaluate:

• Professionalism

• Responsiveness

• Collaboration with other members

• Participation within the network

• Compliance with membership policies

• HIPAA and confidentiality compliance, when applicable

• Professional conduct

• Alignment with PediaBloom's mission, values, and culture

Successful completion of the probationary period is required for continued membership.

Ongoing Clinical Excellence

PediaBloom membership represents an ongoing commitment to professional and clinical excellence.

Members are responsible for maintaining all applicable licenses, certifications, credentials, professional liability insurance, continuing education, supervision, and other requirements applicable to their professional services.

Members and organizational members must notify PediaBloom of material changes that may affect membership eligibility, including:

• Changes in licensure or certification

• Professional disciplinary action

• Changes in ownership

• Changes in clinical leadership

• Addition or departure of practitioners

• Addition of new lines of service

• Material changes in the organization's professional or clinical model

PediaBloom reserves the right to periodically review a member's credentials, practitioners, clinical leadership, scope of services, and continued alignment with PediaBloom's standards.

Membership Selection & Discretion

PediaBloom is a private membership organization. Membership is a privilege, not a right. Meeting minimum eligibility requirements does not create a right to membership.

PediaBloom reserves the right, in its discretion and consistent with applicable law and the Membership Agreement, to approve, deny, defer, place on a waiting list, place on probation, suspend, decline to renew, or terminate an application or membership when it determines such action is appropriate to protect the integrity, quality, mission, or interests of the organization and the families it serves.

Membership decisions may consider:

• Alignment with PediaBloom's mission, values, and culture

• Professionalism and ethical conduct

• Collaborative mindset

• Organizational needs

• Community needs

• Geographic representation

• Specialty representation

• Network composition

• Network capacity

• Strategic priorities

• Professional reputation

• Clinical excellence

• Any other lawful business consideration PediaBloom determines relevant to maintaining the integrity, quality, and mission of the organization

PediaBloom does not make membership decisions based on race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, military status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.

All membership decisions are final.
